The Pakistan Software Export Board jobs  (PSEB) is looking for qualified individuals for its IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) sector. PSEB, a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, is hiring for the role of Independent Director. The main duties of this role include overseeing PSEB’s strategic governance and enhancing IT and ITeS in Pakistan. The Independent Director must be listed in the SECP’s databank (Section 166).

Here are the details:

• Qualifications: At least 16 years of education in fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Law.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years in a senior leadership role within the IT/ITES sector, public sector, or a multinational organization, plus 3 years of board governance experience (public or private sector).
• Selection Criteria: As per Section 16 and Schedule IV of the SOEs Act, 2023.
• Age: 35 to 70 years. Women and individuals under 40 are encouraged to apply.
