The Pakistani government’s Ministry for Overseas Workers and Human Development is looking for people to fill temporary jobs in Islamabad. These jobs might become permanent later on.

Job Openings

Professional Roles

• Assistant: We’re looking for people with a university degree to fill 8 positions. You’ll need basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. You must be b/w 18 and 28 years.
• Stenotypist: We need 21 people who finished high school and can type very fast and take shorthand. You should also know to use computers. You must be b/w 18 and 25 years old.
• Upper Division Clerk (UDC): We have 5 jobs for people with a high school diploma and basic computer skills. You must be b/w 18 and 25 years old.
• Lower Division Clerk (LDC): We’re hiring 4 people who finished middle school, can type, and have basic computer skills. You must be b/w 18 and 25 years old.

Support Roles

• Driver: We need 11 drivers with a valid license and knowledge of traffic rules. You must be b/w 18 and 30 years old.
• Naib Qasid (Messenger): We’re hiring 15 people with at least a primary school education to work as messengers. You must be b/w 18 and 25 years old.
• Sweeper: We need one person with at least a primary school education to clean the office. You must be b/w 18 and 25 years old.

Please note: Most of these jobs are temporary but could become permanent.
